Swedish cargo steamship with mechanical drive. It was built in the Unterweser shipyard in Lehe. The vessel had many owners and names. In 28 October 1942 at 11:19 p.m. (Russian time) Bengt Sture was attacked by a Soviet submarine SzCz-406 under Captain of the second rank Jewgienij Jakowlewicz Osipow, which fired two torpedoes. The ship was in cruise between Danzig and Oxelösund with 1,212.5 tons of coal cargo. When the crew discovered traces of the torpedo, they changed the course.
